Is cold electricity (Tesla's work later followed by Edwin Gray) just a hoax? Or does it have some foundational physics beneath it?
Is not! It is not a scam.
Edwin Gray joined up with his next-door neighbor Marvin Cole, who held a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering and who, unlike Gray, was able to understand the circuitry.
Peter Lindemann points out that Ed Gray’s power conversion tube circuit is effectively a copy of Nikola Tesla’s circuit.
The Ed Gray Power System, the power tube presented to the public by Edwin Gray, operates by generating a series of very short, very sharp pulses using a spark gap.
From 1958 to 1972 Marvin Cole, Ed’s neighbor, working alone, designed and built ever more powerful prototype engines, and it was a small one of these which was tested by Cal-Tech. In this period, Marvin also developed ever more powerful power supplies, which are the really important item in all of this.
In 1967, Ed Gray rejoins Marvin Cole and together from 1967 to 1972, they solicited venture capital and promoted the technology.
Early in 1972, for unknown reasons, Marvin Cole disappeared
[was murdered?] and never saw Gray again.
Edwin Gray has sold a number of technologies (inventions) to several companies. All of these technologies were related to "free energy," and those inventions (sold) went into mystery - like the mystery of his disappearance. In fact, there is no free energy, this is just a call in the context that people are paying for electricity.
What remains of Edwin Gray's work is still being studied.

When space defining Aether is conditioned by Aetheric constructs like matter, or kinetic energy, it is referred to as Ether.

With a spark gap, Tesla was able to block the transfer of electrons and then capture and route the Ether that was tuned to electric charge. He considered these Ether particles to be able, when freed in a special spark gap, to travel FTL, which while moving, or trapped in a dielectric material, would not recombine with electrons, or more likely generate new electrons. If it slowed or got trapped on (it traveled on the surface of the conductors) a conductor, then it would create electricity.

Let's imagine a simple circuit composed of a battery, a CSR (a current sense resistor) and a resistor for a load. A simple DC circuit. You hook this circuit up and a few seconds later the load resistor is hot, the CSR is hot and the battery is getting warm.
ReplyDeleteYou pick some different components and hook them up. This time, the load resistor gets hot, but the battery and CSR stay cool. You can't feel them getting warmer and your thermometer seems to tell you "nothing is changing temperature wise" in regards to the battery and the CSR.
Probably half of you out there know exactly where this is leading. I'm not aiming this at you. This is for the readers that come on this forum saying, "I want to do what you are doing, but I don't know anything about electricity or electronics. All I know is that Tesla was a genius and his discoveries have been lost."
If you think you have a valid comment or question, I will be glad to hear it. But, it seems to me that a bunch of shallow thinking is getting promoted on this forum. (And I have been a member for quite a while now.)
When Tesla talks about radiant, that is THE SAME THING that we know as radio waves. True, there are radial and longitudinal components, but they are both radio waves. We also have a new vocabulary when it comes to inductors, capacitors, and a whole slew of other new stuff. But, cold electricity is nothing more or less than high voltage, low current circuitry.
If you think you know a better definition or description of cold electricity, this would be a good place for you to lay your cards on the table and explain what you think cold electricity is.
To expand on my thoughts, in great detail and with examples, please download and carefully examine the attached zip file which contain a spreadsheet. It simply uses Ohm's law and the power equation (watts = volts times amps) to show what happens in the simple (DC) circuit described above. It should be very helpful to you, if you are a beginner in the area of electricity and electronics.
Good luck with your experiments and I hope you come up with something that will change the course of history.
Also, by the way, I saw a video posted recently ... a circuit idea related to the notion of cold electricity. I really started to wonder what he is thinking. So, please, share your ideas here if you think I'm on the wrong track.
By its very name, "cold", there is an endothermic quality to this form of energy, the way I see it. That is, instead of giving off heat, it acts in the opposite way, running cold. As you say, it involves low current. In my understanding, it is current/amperage that is tied to exothermic reactions or heat production.
DeleteI would argue, based on my experience that you don't need hi voltage for CE. I do agree with your position that there is little to no conventional current/amperage involved. However, voltage level may well play a factor in the density of a cold charge, dictating its ability to perform work. Higher voltage >>> higher charge density >>> greater ability to perform work.
I would also take a slightly different view on the role of HF. In my experience, CE is accessible at relatively low frequencies. However, the key to tapping into it seems to be tied to resonance, or resonant frequency. In terms of HF, the higher you go with overtones, you may also be able to access greater charge densities.
But there's something about a coil at resonance that seems to render it capable in certain instances of drawing in a CE charge.

ReplyDeleteIn order to extract energy from the aether it is essential to understand what the aether is and how it contributes to the creation of ordinary matter. I?m a rank amateur, but I am familiar with the concept of aether physics via a book I bought over a year ago (Secrets of the Aether). I only know enough to know that the model presented in that book unveils geometric relationships that could be useful in realizing a concrete method of pressing the aether into service for over-unity devices.
DeleteOn the other side of the aether, according to the book, is an enormous sea of energy (termed Gforce in the book). The author of the model describes the aether in terms of units of rotating magnetic fields (associated with each other like a super fluid) that confer spin onto the Gforce as it passes through it, effectively dividing the sea of energy into matter (termed onn in the book, as I understand it).
The book speaks of a concept that is ignored by all models I?ve examined to date, that being geometric aspect/importance of charge and matter. Dave Thomson talks about the Casimir effect in terms of the angular momentum (16pi2) of the aether. He also quotes Casimir on his discovery that curvature increased the strange "new energy" effect he discovered. Pulling new matter/energy into the universe from the aether is essential to the goals of this forum. Let?s explore what the aether is, what it does, and what that knowledge can do to rid us of dependence on fossil fuels.

For those who are not familiar with the Tesla Car, here is an article of interest describing the event.

DeleteMr. Peet: The spark gap releases charge from the capacitor very quickly, like striking a bell with a hammer. The charge passes through a coil rapidly causing a strong magnetic field at the base of the coil and a strong electrostatic potential near the top. The copper spheres would have received the electrostatic pulse. If the pulses are generated at the right frequency, they would produce Zenneck waves about the sphere. The Zenneck waves, spherical waves standing a certain distance above the sphere's surface, would momentarily align and oscillate the Aether in that area.

It is my belief that the light seen emanating from plasmas and corona discharges are also Casimir generated. This means that plasma and corona light are examples of dark matter being converted into visible matter in the form of photons.
We're presently in the process of having such a device built so we can experiment with it. My main focus is in proving concepts within the Aether Physics Model, but I will be looking for ways to replicate Tesla's rumored Pierce Arrow power supply.

DeleteSo you do want to have the light effect and ability to capture those materialized photons in some kind of Faraday cage? and convert them to usable electricity. Will the usable electricity out be enough to power the device and leave some extra fo other uses?
I was reading Tesla's development of the magnifying transmitter, and he actually tried to minimize the "light" effect as he thought it was resulting in loss of transmitive energy. However in your system the more light the better. Nice.
Also regarding the Pierce Arrow power supply. According to all the account from back then, it appeared to be silent. Since the spark gap process does create a crackling / buzzing sound (frequency dependent?), is it fair to assume that his power supply in the car did not use a spark gap, and the 12 tubes were used mainly as collectors?
Maybe he had a magnifying transmitter (smaller version than the one destroyed) somewhere in the general geographical area and was taping into that?
On the Zennek standing waves, what frequencies are you targeting?

when the dust settles on all of this i believe we will be generating negative charge static electricity and stepping it up to the voltage and frequency necessary to multiply the energy while using the earth ground to build a solid clean energy capable of driving modern electric motors.
if modern ac electricity was just pure electron charge it would be very benifical to human health and this simply is not the case. pure negative static charge is benifical to human health and this is why it should be used to create the energy we all need to move our lives forward on a positive direction. today we add benificial negative charge or what we call electrons via earth grounding, earth minerals, polyphenals from fruits and vegtables and by moving through the earths magnetic field, getting out in nature, ect.

So many people claim they have figured out free energy, but they can't tell anyone because of the patent office or the men in black. Good grief! If someone actually knew how to do any of this crap, we would not still be trying to figure it out. Solar and wind are all we will probably ever have. Everyone is was likely a delusional wanna-be or a fraudster. There are never any concrete working plans, just a bunch of crap.
